Currently, the legal knowledge exams are administered remotely.

Registration for the distance exams is done on the SSVA Self-Service website, which requires a Mobile Signature or Smart-ID.  Instructions on how to log in to the self-service and the remote examination procedure are available here.

CONTACT exams on legal knowledge

In the near future, please contact the authorised organisations (Kaunas, Vilnius) for contact exam dates.

• Applicants take the Legal Knowledge Examinations in accordance with the Legal Knowledge Examination Programmes developed by the SSVA and approved by the Minister of the Environment. Pareiškėjai teisinių žinių egzaminus laiko pagal SSVA parengtas ir aplinkos ministro patvirtintas .
• Applicants applying for the managerial positions referred to in sub-clauses of STR 1.02.01:2017 2.1.1–2.1.12 in the structures of nuclear power facilities shall additionally be obliged to pass the Legal Knowledge Examination prepared in accordance with the programme of the Examination of Legal Knowledge of Structures of Nuclear Power Facilities.
• Applicants applying for the managerial positions referred to in sub-clauses of STR 1.02.01:2017 2.1.1–2.1.20 in the structures located in the territory of the object of cultural heritage, in the zone of protection of the object of cultural heritage, or in the area of the object of cultural heritage, with the exception of the objects of cultural heritage and the structures of cultural heritage, shall be obliged to additionally undergo the examination of the legal knowledge, which has been prepared in accordance with the programme of legal examinations of the structures of the Cultural heritage territories.

1. the applicant submits an application for attestation, which is examined and registered by the SSVA.
2. Once the application has been registered, an advance invoice for the certification service will be sent to the applicant and must be paid before the examination.
3. If deficiencies are found in the application, the registration of the application shall be postponed until the Applicant has remedied them. Failure to register the application shall result in the Applicant not being allowed to sit the examination.
4. Examinations are usually held at least once a week and are currently conducted remotely. The procedure for remote examination is available here. Depending on the situation, contact examinations may also be organised.
5. Applicants must register in advance for the examination.
