Attestation of construction companies

Companies or other foreign organisations from a Member State of the European Union, the Swiss Confederation or a State signatory to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, wishing to carry out works on special structures, are required to fill out an application for recognition of the right and to submit the relevant documents to the SSVA (see Forms of documents for recognition of a right).

Companies or other foreign organisations from other countries (third countries) are required to fill in an application for a certificate of qualification of a company (in the same way as applicants established in Lithuania) and to submit the relevant documents (see Forms of documents for recognition of a right) to the SSVA.

An applicant seeking recognition in the Republic of Lithuania of the right to engage in construction or expertise activities must submit an application to the SSVA and the documents listed below:

1. Apostille documents confirming qualifications and the fact of establishment - For applicants from countries that have signed and ratified the Convention on the Abolition of Legalisation of Documents Issued in Foreign Countries, signed at The Hague on 5 October 1961;
2. Confirmation (copies or translations) of documents confirming the Applicant's right to engage in the activity of construction of buildings, expert examination of buildings;
3. Certified copies of the applicant's establishment documents;
4. Completion of the company's data card in the form approved by the SSVA;
5. A certificate on the number of employees working in the Applicant's structure in accordance with the form approved by the SSVA;
6. A list of the work carried out by the applicant on a form approved by the Director of the SSVA during the period of time indicated:
• Article 18(3)(6) of the Construction Act;
• Article 17(3)(2) of the Construction Act.

NOTE:

• Translations of all documents into the official language of the Republic of Lithuania are provided. The translations must be certified by the translator's signature and/or the stamp of the translation agency.
• If the documents are submitted by a person other than the head of the company, a power of attorney signed by the head is required.
