Attestation of experts of energy performance certification of buildings

1. Familiarise yourself with the Attestation Regulations, the Certification Examiner's Rules of Procedure (see legislation) and assess whether you meet the qualification requirements set out in the legislation.
2. Choose a training organisation, take a training course according to an approved Training Programme and receive a certificate of completion.
3. Fill in the application form and send it together with the documents requested by email () or by post, or submit it in person to SSVA (see opening times and contacts).
4. Applicants who have submitted the required documents to the SSVA will be emailed information about the time and place of the SSVA examination.

1. Application (downloadable form);
2. A copy of your identity document;
3. Copy of diploma(s);
4. Evidence of at least 3 years' work experience in one of the construction sectors (CV, certificates or employment contracts);
5. Certificate of completion of the training course;
6. Any other evidence of qualifications which the applicant may wish to submit at his/her discretion.

3. Evidence of continuing professional development under a programme approved by the Ministry of the Environment.

If documents are submitted by email, all documents must be as a scanned PDF file of up to 15Mb.

Documents submitted electronically must be authenticated:

• by signing with a qualified electronic signature or;
• if scanned copies of hand-signed paper documents are submitted, then all scanned copies of electronic documents must be certified as a 'true copy' and signed by the Applicant.
