The Legal Knowledge Examination is designed to test the legal knowledge of the managers of the main areas of technical activities in the construction of buildings to be certified.

Applicants' legal knowledge is tested by means of tests. The questions of tests are not published. The results shall be valid for a maximum period of 6 months from the date of passing the examination.

Construction professionals can prepare for the exam on their own, but there is also the option of attending the legal knowledge training provided by SSVA.

1. The applicant shall submit an application for attestation, which shall be examined and registered by the SSVA.
2. Once the application has been registered, an advance invoice for the certification service will be sent to the applicant and must be paid before the examination.
3. If deficiencies are found in the application, the registration of the application shall be postponed until the Applicant has remedied them. Failure to register the application shall result in the Applicant not being allowed to sit the examination.
4. Examinations are usually held at least once a week and are currently conducted remotely. Depending on the situation, contact examinations may also be organised.
5. Applicants must register in advance for the examination.

Applicants take the Legal Knowledge Examinations in accordance with the Legal Knowledge Examination Curricula developed by the SSVA and approved by the Minister of the Environment.

Participation in the training is subject to registration. The venue, time and cost of the training are published on the registration form. Payment in advance is required.

For groups of 20 or more, we organise the training at a time convenient for you. The venue of the training must be agreed in advance with SSVA.

For foreign construction professionals, we organise training in English or another language with a translator. The cost and location of the training must be agreed in advance with SSVA.

Comprehensive course on construction law

This training course covers topics in job clusters 1-5, from which legal knowledge test questions have been developed. Methodological material is provided to participants during the training.

Construction law course

This training course covers a topic from job group 7 (Managers of the main areas of construction technical activities for cultural heritage structures (special or non-special structures located in the territory of a cultural heritage site, its protection zone, a cultural heritage site)), which includes legal knowledge test questions. Methodological material is provided to participants during the training.
