Representatives of the Construction Sector Development Agency (SSVA) together with the Lithuanian delegation participated in the exhibition and conference "Rebuild Ukraine" held in Warsaw, the capital of Poland, for the reconstruction of war-torn Ukrainian cities.

The main goals of this event are to attract funds from international institutions and investors for the reconstruction of Ukrainian cities, to help Ukrainian energy companies to restore the most important infrastructure objects and to promote the attractiveness of Ukrainian cities and regions for investments.

SSVA participated in the exhibition as a participant in the reconstruction of Ukrainian cities, which is currently developing a 3D city planning tool, which enables to display in three-dimensional space not only the current situation of Ukrainian cities, but also ongoing and planned construction projects.

This is a smart digital solution for Ukrainian cities, which will help to rebuild them better than they were before the war", says Tomas Gulbinas, head of the Special Project for Ukraine of the SSVA.

The first stage of the project will include the preparation of a digital platform and the collection of 3D images of the city and their uploading to the platform. Based on them, a 3D planning tool adapted to Ukrainian cities would be created.

Lithuania would also conduct training for employees of Borodyanka and Buča municipalities, not only on how to use the tool, but to further expand and improve it.

The 3D planning tool is expected to be ready by 2024. II quarter. The project is financed by the Government of the Republic of Lithuania and the Government of Taiwan.

According to SSVA director Aidas Vaičiulis, it is expected that the tool will be successfully applied in other territories affected by the brutal war.
